Review: Disney Doc McStuffins All Better Game

If you’re ready to add the Disney Doc McStuffins All Better Game game to your black Friday shopping list,  check out my review, pictures and video of this awesome new game by Wonder Forge!  The Doc McStuffins show on Disney Junior is a cartoon about a sweet little girl whose mom is a doctor and she pretends to be a doctor with all of her toys.  Buy the Doc McStuffins All Better Game at Amazon.

I played the Disney Doc McStuffins All Better game with my family to test out how easy and fun it was for kids to play, from age 6 (my son) to ages almost 3 and almost 4 (my daughters).  Don’t get fooled into thinking that Doc McStuffins is just a girls’ show, because boys love to watch it too.  My son was just as excited as the girls to play the All Better game! All Better Game HEA (3)

Below is my video that shows the Disney Doc McStuffins All Better game, the game pieces, and an overview of the instructions and game objective.   Most importantly, it shows us setting up the game and playing it with our kids, so you can see how easy it is for them to figure out!  (If you can’t see the video below, click here to watch it.)

Doc McStuffins All Better Game: The Good

Quick Start Directions:  One of my favorite things about the Disney games is that they have quick start directions that make it easy to play for the first time.  The back of the box even shows the simple steps 1- spin the spinner, 2- put on bandages, 3- fix the ouchies.

Easy to Play:  The game play is pretty simple on Disney games so that even young kids can get the hang of it quickly.

Fun Pieces:  The doctor tools are brightly colored and made of soft foam.  They are big enough for the kids to “use” and trust me – they will love playing with them as toys even after the game is over!

Below is a picture of my girls having a great time in the living room with the Doc McStuffins All Better game pieces after we finished playing.  They were not done, it turns out!

Carrying Case:  The Doc McStuffins All Better game comes in a cardboard backed package with a see-through plastic front.  Once you open the game to take the pieces out, the package is ruined and can’t be used as a box to store the game.

Luckily, the All Better game comes with a doctor bag that holds not only the doctor tools, but also the rest of the game pieces and instructions.  It even has a  Velcro closure so the pieces won’t fall out!

Slap Bracelets:  The best thing about the Disney Doc McStuffins All Better game is by far the slap bracelet bandages!  Slap bracelets are so cool and fun for kids to use, and my kids actually wanted to wear the bandages around the house as real bracelets!  Disney really hit a home run by making the bandages out of slap bracelets.

Below you can see my daughters showing off the slap bracelet band-aids with cute pink hearts on them!

Doc McStuffins All Better Game: The Bad

Memory Game:  The Disney Doc McStuffins All Better game is a memory game, because you have to try to remember what doctor tool is pictured on the inside of the slap bracelet.

Even though the game is recommended for ages 3 and up, it was very difficult for my kids to remember what game pieces were pictured inside the bracelets because playing the game was too exciting.  Between spinning the spinner, choosing doctor tools, and putting on bracelets, concentration was the last thing going on.

It was still fun to play even though the kids weren’t really focused on winning!

Doc McStuffins All Better Game: Take It or Leave It

Take It:  The Doc McStuffins All Better game is a Christmas present for kids!  The price is affordable, the game is fun and easy (even for little kids as young as age 3), and it doubles as a toy when you’re not playing the game.  My girls were quite upset that I put the doctor bag full of pieces away instead of putting it in their toy box.

The Doc McStuffins All Better game gets the Home Ever After stamp of approval!
